Concept 1865 electric bike

BASF Concept 1865

Remember BASF? Those people that made cassette tapes back in the 1980′s? Well they may have slipped from our peripheral vision, but they by no means disappeared. To show us exactly how splendid they are, they’ve devised a new electric bike called the Concept 1865. It’s a beautiful bicycle designed on a Penny Farthing. However, it’s been brought bang up to date. It’s not strictly steampunk, but it’s so lovely to look at and the styling harks back to the late 19th century.
