Octopus Chandelier in white
Call me obssessed, but I do love a good bit of the old artwork with Octopuses. That’s why I’m in awe of the chandeliers from Adam Wallacaver. They’re inspired by the Octopus and use tentacles as the arms which hold the lights.

They’re available in many colours from white, to green or pink. Interestingly, the designs don’t seem to spark from a love of the Cephalopods, but more in an indulgence of the bizarre. Adam’s photos on his social media pages and blogs are littered with surreal art installations and photography that looks like an integration of monsters into everyday society.
He doesn’t stop at the Octopus either. He also has a Medusa chandelier which uses snake bodies so it resembles the Greek mythological creature who turned all who gazed on her to stone. Adam has exhibited his work in various places including Philadelphi Airport.
I love the amount of detail that goes into each construction. He uses gorgeous colours and seem to suit the item he’s making regardless of whether it’s a true colour of the animal. The blog and Facebook page are a mish-mash of personal and professional posts and the photography borders on bizarre but is very interesting to look at.
