The history of Britain is a rich and colourful one full of heroes and villains. One such villain that captures the imagination is none other than Jack the Ripper, and who better to tell his story than the Americans?
Created by Daniel Fowley, Creep is a musical which took six years to produce from the initial conception of musical notes to the cast members taking there first steps on the stage. Being a musical, there will undoubtedly be some creative licence in place. However, the story isn’t simply about the Ripper. In fact, it’s inception was intended to allow the viewer to realise that the idea that the social and ideological problems of late 19th century London still happen today.
Creep is running from October 2nd to 25th at WaterTower Theatre at Addison Theatre Centre, 15650 Addison Rd, Addison, Texas 75001
