You may have noticed the pattern of starting the 30th anniversary steampunk giveaway. On day one we had a copy of Morlock Night by KW Jeter. He’s the author that actually coined the word “steampunk” so it was fitting that his fabled steampunk novel would start the party. Mid-Month we gave away a copy of Anubis Gates by Tim Powers and so we arrive at the final day. Given that three authors were the main players during the late 1980s when the word was conceived and we’ve featured two of them, it seems only fitting that we use the third.
