Ford Design team builds steampunk snowman

Over the recent festive period, nine of Ford’s design teams were asked to create a themed snowman for a bit of fun. Among the entries was Studio 2000X’s “Punker Snowman”.  He’s a dapper chap with a top hat, cane, pipe and well waxed moustache. He also sports customary goggles and his limbs are made of copper tubing.

It’s uncertain why he’s called a Punker Snowman and not a Steampunk Snowman. Auto magazine New Wheels suggests that it’s because when Studio 2000X tried to explain to the PR dept what steampunk is, they simply got tired and instead of asking if they’d seen Wild Wild West, they just said “Yeah, it’s a punk snowman”.
